Hannah and Emily were excited to help with the dogs, and I was just excited to get out of the house!
We spent quite a bit of time walking the trails and exploring "The House" they have for weddings and such.

It's funny how babies can sleep through anything. Patrick made us take a wrong turn (sorry Pat, but it's true!), and we ended up on a path full of steps. Patrick and I ended up carrying the stroller down A LOT of steps and then up A LOT of steps and little Mya just slept through it all.
Emily and I were on the lookout for animals (we usually see all kinds of them when we are there), but all we saw this time was this doe (sorry about the blurry picture)

At the beginning of summer I thought I would frequent this place more often, but with the rain, gloomy weather, and not-so-good health, I didn't. I really do enjoy the Nature Center and hopefully will make more trips before the yucky winter weather arrives.
....
It's also ironic that we chose this day to visit the Nature Center. Exactly one year ago, I made a trip to the Nature Center with Maggie and her mother. I believe it was my second posting on my blog...funny...I mean, it was July 21, 2008...how wierd...
....
Anyway...
By the way, loyal blog readers, the Nature Center is free on Mondays, so if you ever want to go...I'm just a phone call away. I'm thinking of maybe taking pictures of the girls there to use on our Christmas cards...

I would like to go, but of course us non-teachers will have to go in the evening hours. Would that still work?
Yup, that would work! This teacher has to report to work in just 2 weeks, so even I won't be able to go during the day.
