Since Rocky Fork was such a wash-out, Randy thought we might enjoy a trip to East Fork lake with the Sea Doo again (last Sunday). It wasn't a very hot day, but the water was surprisingly warm and if I closed my eyes, I could pretend that the waves I heard crashing upon the shore were hitting the pink sand beaches of Bermuda or the white sands of Mexico or even the fairly average sands of Hilton Head! ;-)

As usual, I took quite a few pictures of Aaron. He is just so photogenic that I can't help it! (I have more than this, but I didn't feel like editing all of them!)
I like taking pictures of him because every smile, every action is natural; he's not posing or trying to act funny for the camera like Hannah and Emily do when they know I'm taking their picture. He's just being "him" and I like that.
Uncle Ed came up this time. He spent some time riding on the tube and the Sea Doo and tooled around with Emily in the little boat Vickie and Randy have.
(I didn't ride the tube this time; my shoulder hurt too much, but I did ride "spotter" for Ed once which was really funny!)

Despite my aversion to lake water, I enjoy our time at East Fork because we get to hang out as a family. The girls run to the water and play in it non-stop (not going to lie--that does make me cringe) and there doesn't seem to be any fighting or bickering (great sigh of relief inserted here!)
"I just loooovvvveee the Sea Doo!" that's what Hannah said while we were there. She wore that life jacket non-stop so whenever Randy came back in, she could get a chance to ride. Lucky for her, Emily wasn't really interested in riding it that day.
Randy pretty much "made" Vickie get on with Aaron

And, Randy spent some time showing-off... (I didn't realize he was doing this, and by the time I got my camera out, I could only snap a picture or two. Next time, I promise to take more pictures of your Sea Doo-ing skills, Randy!)

Vickie and Lauren took their own turn on the Sea Doo; in the meantime, Randy gave Aaron his own boating experience
After leaving the lake we ate at Frisch's. And even though, as usual I'm not in one picture, I swear I was there, had a great time, and look forward to doing it again!
