Signs of spring around our house

Lately I've been sick. It's been over a week now and I'm still sick, but the other day I was feeling a little bit better, and the weather was nice, so I decided to grab my camera, get some fresh air, and look for some signs of spring. Here's what I found (click on the pictures to see them larger):

From left to right 1st row: the girls playing soccer in the front yard with a neighborhood friend, my neighbor's tree in bloom, and the girls with a turtle (not really from that day, but hey, it's still a srping picture!)

From left to right 2nd row: bikes in the driveway (more bikes than I have kids, of course), a robin hopping through freshly cut grass, the trees blooming on my street.

From left to right 3rd row: Ray wearing shorts getting ready to cut the grass, an opened bottle of bubbles sitting on the front porch with no kid in sight, the old lawn mower and a basketball in the front yard.

From left to right 4th row: the daffodils growing in our backyard, the berries falling off the tree with new pink flowers growing, and open windows.

Of course, that was this past weekend. Today, I'm sitting here feeling lousy again watching snow flurries fly by the window. Sigh. I wish warmer weather would come and stay, and I wish my ailment would go away.

Sigh.
