Yep...in-line skates.
It started the other day when one of their friends came over in her new skates. Then, this afternoon, one of their other friends gave Hannah those pink skates, and Emily, of course, had to get some for herself. We spent the evening watching them roll up and down the driveway.
They looked pretty funny with all that padding on, but it came in handy when Emily fell on her butt; however, Emily was sorry she didn't listen to me when I told her to wear shorts under that skirt...she ended up with scrapes on her butt!
It was fun to watch them enjoy the great outdoors. Time will only tell how long this phase will last and what I will be rushing out the door at 5:50 p.m. on a Sunday to buy next!
