Having a Wii bit of fun!

At the top of my Black Friday shopping list was a Wii--partly for the kids, of course, but mainly for myself! I LOVE playing games on Wii and now that we have the basement finished and a nice tv, I talked Ray into getting one. I thought I would be savy and get one from Walmart at 5:00 a.m., but as you know, that didn't exactly pan out. I decided to just pay regular price and get it at Target. We also decided to not make it a Christmas present in hopes that family members, as well as Santa, can provide accessories as gifts.

After shopping for over 8 hours, I needed a nap. So, I grabbed a blanket and cozied myself up on the couch in the basement and slept. When I woke up, I found Ray in our bedroom putting together Band Hero. While I was sleeping, he went to Sears for a cord for the Wii and grabbed the set as my early Christmas present. I can't say I'm disappointed. Guitar Hero is my absolute most FAVORTIE game to play. I could do it all night long!

Vickie, Randy, Lauren, Aaron, and Ed came over for some fun. (I also asked Sue and Jo Ann, but they were both busy with other plans)

While we "big" people busied ourselves with Wii entertainment, the little one busied himself with cars

and dollhouses

(Yes, he is actually inside the dollhouse. He even tried to climb up the stairs to get the top floor! Now THAT'S a funny moment caught on film!)

We ended the night with a little Tranformers on the "big" screen ;-)

(Some of us really ended it there--Me, Hannah, Emily, and Ed all fell asleep before the movie was over!)

I had a great time with my family, in my new favorite spot in the house, playing the most fun game in the world!
