Getting new glasses isn't that brave of a move, but buying the black plastic frames with the white on the inside and a little bling on the outside is a bold move for me! I have been eyeing frames like these for quite some time, but I was too afraid that I wouldn't look right in them. Of course, I went for a thinner rim around the lens (that part's wire), but I LOVE them! And I'm going to enjoy wearing them.
In other "bold moves" stories, I made the girls dentist appointments...you don't really know how much fear and trepidation I overcame by walking into the dentist at Sears (weird that they have a dental place...), ask if they accept my insurance, schedule appointments, and admit that I have NEVER taken them to the dentist. It was huge for me, I tell you. HUGE. I know it makes me a bad mom to not have taken them yet (at first I just didn't think about it, and then I got embarrased to admit it, and then I was just plain scared to go), but soon, I will be on the good mom list...
