My 38th Year

That's what my new scrapbook is going to be called. There is a "movement" in the scrapbook world to take one picture for an entire year. It's called Project 365, and I am going to attempt the project and I'm going to call it "My 38th Year." So, I took some pictures yesterday and I think my first picture will be of the flowers Ray and the girls gave me for my birthday:
They were sitting on the counter when I walked in the backdoor and I could smell them; their fragrance was that strong. Of course, the flowers were accompanied with 2 cards and a gift card to The Running Spot for a new pair of running shoes.
I really liked this close-up shot of the rose, but I wanted to use a picture of all the flowers to remind myself of what the boquet really looked like.
So, my celebrations included a party with my fellow teacher-friends on Friday, dinner at a neighbor's house (we share the same birthday) on Saturday, and today we are going to Liza's house to celebrate Denise's birthday (we also share the same birthday).
Today starts my 38th year...looking forward to all it brings (hopefully more good than bad!) :-)

Thanks, but are you talking about "your" camera or the one I'm using? ;-) If it's mine, perhaps it has more to do with the photographer than the camera...;-)

I was talking about your camera not the photographer ;-) and of course my camera takes great pictures as well. The pictures of the flowers turned out so clear. You should blow the rose one up and frame it.
