Let's Go Doodlin'

Sue and Patrick have established a tradition of taking the girls somewhere special for their birthdays. This year, Hannah decided she wanted to go to a ceramics place. She went there last winter with her Brownies group and thouroughly enjoyed it.

Their first stop was to McDonald's where they had lunch...

Then it was off to paint!

She was originally going to paint a mug to give to Aunt Jo, but she changed her mind and decided to make herself a bowl.

Sue and Patrick decided to paint things for little Mya's room.

I am so thankful that Hannah has aunts and uncles like Aunt Sue and Uncle Patrick to make her feel special. She has talked nonstop about making this bowl and how she can't wait until she gets her bowl back so she can eat her cereal out of it in the morning. And, every time she eats from this bowl, she will remember going to Let's Go Doodlin' with Aunt Sue and Uncle Patrick to celebrate her 8th birthday!
